Omar Marmoush joins Manchester City on a five-year deal, bringing his pace and goal-scoring ability to the Premier League champions.

Manchester City has finalized the signing of Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt in a deal worth approximately £63 million, including bonuses. The 25-year-old striker has agreed to a contract that will keep him at the club until June 2029.

Omar Marmoush expressed his excitement about joining Manchester City, stating, “This is a day I will never forget. To sign for Manchester City - one of the best teams in the world - is an amazing feeling. I am delighted, my family are so proud, and we are all very happy to be here in Manchester.” He also praised the club's facilities and coaching staff, saying, “With Pep, his technical staff and the world-class facilities here, players have everything they need to improve. That was really enticing for me when I had the chance to come here.”

As a versatile forward, Marmoush can operate across the front line, making him a valuable addition to Manchester City's squad. During his time at Frankfurt, he scored 15 goals in the Bundesliga this season, a feat that puts him just one goal behind Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane.

Marmoush's move to Manchester City marks a significant milestone in his career, having joined Frankfurt on a free transfer from Wolfsburg just 18 months ago. Reflecting on his ambitions with his new club, Marmoush said, “I cannot deny I also want to win trophies. City have been the most successful club in England for many, many years, so I know I am joining a winning environment and winning culture.”

Marmoush emphasized his desire to learn from the coaching staff and his teammates, stating, “I want to learn from the staff and my teammates, and I want to become a valued member of this winning team.” He also expressed his eagerness to start playing and showcase his skills to the Manchester City fans, saying, “I really am looking forward to getting going, meeting the other players and showing the Manchester City fans what I can do.”
