Juventus manager Thiago Motta is seeking an angry response from his team ahead of their crucial Serie A clash against Atalanta on Tuesday. Following a disappointing 1-1 draw against Torino on Saturday, Motta's side remains unbeaten in the league, but their 12th stalemate in 19 games has left them fifth in the standings, nine points adrift of third-placed Atalanta.

Motta acknowledged the team's frustration, stating, “We are angry because we did not win the Derby, but we are focused on tomorrow's challenge against a team that is doing very well.” The Juventus manager emphasized that the team's dissatisfaction is justified, saying, “We are the first to be angry. Not being happy is correct, but we have the conviction that the work we are doing is right to earn victories.”

Looking ahead to the match against Atalanta, Motta expressed respect for their opponents while also conveying his team's determination to secure a victory. “It will be a great match, very complicated like all of them, we face a team that is better than us, the standings say so,” Motta noted. “We go with respect, but wanting to play our game to get the result we want, which is always victory.”
