Danish clubs Ikast and Team Esbjerg have signed players from bankrupt Norwegian club Vipers Kristiansand, including Swedish international Jamina Roberts and Swiss right wing Mia Emmenegger.
Team Esbjerg has announced the signing of three players from Vipers Kristiansand. The new additions include 20-year-old Swiss right wing Mia Emmenegger and 22-year-old Swedish player Nina Koppang, both of whom have signed multi-year agreements. Experienced Dutch player Merel Freriks has also joined Team Esbjerg on a short contract until the end of the season.
Team Esbjerg's head coach, Tomas Axnér, expressed his satisfaction with the new signings, saying, “We have looked at our needs on short- as well as on long-term basis and have acted accordingly. I am very satisfied that the club had the strength to act in the situation that arose, and we will now get a better team that enables us to maintain the high level of sporting ambition.”

Jamina Roberts has joined Ikast with immediate effect and may make her debut against Viborg HK on Wednesday in the Women's League. Roberts has signed a contract for the rest of the season, which will help bolster Ikast's squad following injuries and a pregnancy. Ikast director Daniel Grønhøj welcomed Roberts, saying, “Things have gone quite quickly in the past week, but our assessment is that we need to add an extra resource to our squad and I am very happy about the fact that we have succeeded in bringing in a player like Jamina with such great routine and quality.”
