Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has shed light on the club's plans to bolster their attacking lineup, hinting that a solution may already be present within the squad. Speaking about the team's options, Maresca expressed his admiration for Marc Guiu, who has been impressing in the Conference League.

“We have Marc Guiu, who is doing very good in the Conference League,” Maresca revealed. The Chelsea manager acknowledged that Guiu has not had sufficient opportunities to prove himself in the Premier League, stating, “I didn't give him enough minutes in the Premier League to prove it.” However, Maresca expressed his desire to provide Guiu with more playing time in the near future, saying, “Hopefully we can start to give him some minutes very soon.”

Enzo Maresca's comments suggest that Chelsea may not necessarily need to dip into the transfer market to address their striking concerns. Instead, the Italian manager appears to be considering promoting from within, giving Guiu the chance to showcase his abilities on a larger stage.
