Rob Cross has emerged victorious at the Dutch Masters, defeating Stephen Bunting 8-5 in the final. Cross initially dominated the match, racing to a 5-2 lead. However, Bunting staged a remarkable comeback, leveling the score at 5-5. Ultimately, Cross's prowess proved too great, as he secured the next three legs to claim the title.



Cross's path to victory included a convincing 7-3 semi-final win over Welsh star Gerwyn Price in Den Bosch. Meanwhile, Bunting's impressive run was highlighted by his narrow 7-6 victory over Luke Littler in the previous round. Following his triumph over Bunting, Cross expressed his gratitude and admiration for his opponent, telling ITV: “Stephen is a great man, he is a credit to the sport. I am just so grateful that I won. Obviously, the crowd has been brilliant. I think it's about time I won in the Netherlands!”
