Southampton Appoint Ivan Juric as New Manager
Southampton have appointed Ivan Juric as their new manager, tasking him with turning around the club's struggling Premier League campaign.
Premier League strugglers Southampton have reportedly reached an agreement with Croatian manager Ivan Juric to take the reins at the club.
Following the dismissal of Russell Martin on Sunday, Southampton have moved swiftly to appoint a new manager. Martin's departure came after a dismal 5-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, which extended the team's winless streak to six matches.
Ivan Juric, the Croatian manager set to take over at Southampton, has previously managed AS Roma, although his tenure was short-lived. Juric was dismissed in November after just 12 matches, with the team's poor results leading to his departure.
Southampton, currently languishing at the bottom of the Premier League table with just five points from 16 games, face a tough challenge on Sunday. They will travel to Craven Cottage to take on eighth-placed Fulham, hoping to secure a much-needed victory to boost their survival hopes.
