The National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR) has commenced registration for tourism practitioners in Nigeria.

The National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR) has launched a national registration program for personnel and practitioners in the hospitality and tourism sector, effective December 1, 2024. This initiative is in line with the NIHOTOUR Establishment Act 2022 and aims to regulate all professionals and personnel operating in Nigeria's hospitality and tourism industry.

The registration process, led by NIHOTOUR's Director General/CEO, Aare Abisoye Fagade, is not limited to hotel employees but also includes all individuals and professionals engaged in hospitality and tourism activities across the country.
