Cody Gakpo has expressed his desire for Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah to commit his future to the club by signing a new contract. With Salah's current deal set to expire in June, Gakpo is eager to see the Egyptian forward remain at Anfield for the long haul.

Gakpo has been left in awe of Salah's incredible form, which has seen him break numerous records. “It is special what we are all witnessing,” Gakpo said, praising Salah's all-around attacking prowess. “The amount of goals he scores but the assists he gives as well, the way he plays the game, how he puts other attacking players or midfielders like myself in a position to score and to be dangerous is from a high level.”
