Robert Lewandowski scored his 100th Champions League goal as Barcelona dominated Brest, winning 3-0 and moving up to second in the league phase table.

Robert Lewandowski achieved a milestone in the Champions League, becoming the third player to score 100 goals in the competition. Barcelona delivered a dominant performance, defeating Brest with ease.

Lewandowski's historic goal came from the penalty spot in the 10th minute. Brest goalkeeper Marco Bizot fouled the Polish striker, allowing Lewandowski to convert the penalty and reach the 100-goal mark.

Only Cristiano Ronaldo (141) and Lionel Messi (129) have scored more Champions League goals than Lewandowski. The 36-year-old's achievement is a testament to his enduring success in Europe's elite competition.

Dani Olmo scored his first Champions League goal for Barcelona, doubling their lead. Olmo's impressive first touch allowed him to beat Brendan Chardonnet, and he calmly slotted the ball past Bizot.

Lewandowski sealed the win with his second goal, showcasing his clinical finishing skills. He spun past a defender in the box and slotted the ball into the bottom corner with ease.

Barcelona controlled the match, dominating possession with 77%. The La Liga leaders limited Brest to zero shots on target, highlighting their defensive solidity.

Olmo had another opportunity to score in the second half, but Brest captain Brendan Chardonnet made a crucial clearance off the line, denying Olmo his second goal.

Brest launched a rare attack and thought they had scored, but Mathias Pereira Lage's goal was disallowed due to offside.

Barcelona had a chance to seal the win with five minutes remaining, but substitute Pablo Torre missed a gilt-edged opportunity, slipping his shot wide of the post.

The victory propelled Barcelona to second place in the league phase table, with four wins from five matches. Brest, meanwhile, slipped to eighth position.
