Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo has emphasized the importance of leadership within the team, citing his own leadership qualities as one of his key strengths. Adarabioyo, who has taken on a more prominent role within the squad, expressed his pride at being able to lead and guide the team's young players.


“My leadership qualities are one of my strengths and to come here and do the same for this young group of boys is an honour really,” Adarabioyo said, highlighting his commitment to mentoring and supporting his teammates.


Despite the team's recent struggles, Adarabioyo remains optimistic about the future, acknowledging that the squad is still in the process of learning and adapting under new manager Enzo Maresca. “We've only just started and we're still learning things with Maresca, and there is a bit of patience there but we are Chelsea Football Club and the demand is high,” Adarabioyo noted.


The defender is well aware of the high expectations that come with playing for Chelsea, and he emphasized the need for the team to perform consistently, regardless of the challenges they may face. “We know it in the changing room. We have to go out there no matter what and perform,” Adarabioyo said, underscoring the team's determination to succeed.
