When asked about Acheampong's involvement with the first team, Maresca stated: “He had a session with us in the last two days with some of the young players.” However, Maresca also confirmed that Acheampong will not be part of the squad for their upcoming match, saying: “He is not in the squad for tomorrow and we have four or five with our second team with us.”
