Tom Louchet's dramatic 96th-minute equalizer secures 2-2 draw for Nice against Lille, extending Le Gym's Ligue 1 unbeaten run to seven and LOSC's streak to 10.

OGC Nice secured a thrilling 2-2 draw against Lille OSC, thanks to Tom Louchet's dramatic late equalizer, extending both teams' unbeaten runs.

Nice's high-pressing strategy yielded opportunities, particularly in the early stages. Evann Guessand nearly capitalized on a chance created by Mohamed-Ali Cho's pass, but Alexsandro's timely intervention thwarted the threat.

However, Nice's inconsistent pressing allowed Lille to exploit the space and counter-attack effectively. Lille targeted the area vacated by Jonathan Clauss's forward runs, and Matias Fernandez-Pardo seized the opportunity. The Belgian winger expertly opened the scoring, catching Youssouf Ndayishimiye off guard and beating Marcin Bulka at the near post.

Lille's advantage was short-lived, but the match seesawed until Louchet's late heroics rescued a point for Nice.

Jonathan David, who had been relatively quiet, squandered a golden opportunity to double the lead, directing his free header from just seven yards out straight into the waiting hands of goalkeeper Matěj Bulka.

At halftime, Franck Haise made a tactical tweak, abandoning his customary 3-4-3 formation and introducing Sofiane Diop in place of Melvin Bard. The substitution paid instant dividends.

The interval change reinvigorated Nice, and it was Diop who capitalized on the newfound momentum, expertly converting Luther Clauss' inviting cross to level the score.

Lille capitalized on Nice's defensive adjustment, exploiting the unfamiliar four-man backline. The pressure shifted, and Lille found success attacking down the left flank, where Matias Fernandez-Pardo continued to thrive.

Fernandez-Pardo repeated his first-half heroics, beating Jonathan Clauss and reaching the byline before cutting back a precise pass to Benjamin André. André's initial effort struck the post, but fortune smiled on him as the rebound fell straight back into his path.

André demonstrated composure, eschewing a second attempt and instead laying off the ball to Mitchel Bakker. The Dutch full-back seized the opportunity, unleashing a powerful blast that left Marcin Bulka with no chance.

Lille regained the lead through Bakker's clinical finish, punishing Nice's defensive vulnerabilities.

Despite Nice's efforts to equalize, Lille appeared more likely to extend their lead. Ali Abdi's two attempts on goal went awry, and the visitors continued to threaten.

Lille's Gabriel Gudmundsson and Bafodé Diakité both struck the post, narrowly missing opportunities to seal the win. It seemed as though Lille's two goals would be enough.

However, in the 96th minute, Tom Louchet dramatically snatched a point for Nice. Amidst a crowded box, Louchet clinically finished past Lucas Chevalier, finding the bottom corner.

The thrilling draw extended Nice's unbeaten Ligue 1 run to seven matches and stretched Lille's unbeaten streak across all competitions to 10.
