Real Madrid beats Osasuna 4-0. Vinicius Junior scores hat-trick, but Militao's season ends due to injury.

Real Madrid bounced back from consecutive losses with a resounding 4-0 victory over Osasuna, but the triumph was marred by Eder Militao's severe knee injury.

Militao suffered a devastating setback after twisting his knee during a corner, causing him to crumple to the ground in agony. Diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament and menisci damage, he was stretchered off, making way for 21-year-old Raul Asencio's Real Madrid debut.

A statement from Real Madrid confirmed the extent of Militao's injury, announcing he will undergo surgery in the coming days.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti expressed concern over the injury toll, stating, “Three first-half injuries are unusual. The packed schedule doesn't allow players sufficient rest, increasing the risk of injuries.”

Vinicius Junior's hat-trick propelled Real Madrid to victory, alleviating pressure following two straight defeats.

Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham scored his first goal of the season in style, latching onto Asencio's exceptional long ball from defense and deftly dinking the ball over goalkeeper Herrera.

Vinicius then doubled Real's lead an hour into the game, courtesy of Andriy Lunin's sublime ball up the field. The Brazilian rounded Herrera with ease and tapped home.

The Brazilian sealed his hat-trick with a clinical finish, thanks to substitute Brahim Diaz's clever interception. Diaz stole the ball from Enzo Boyomo and slid it across to Vinicius, who finished with effortless precision.

Despite the resounding victory, Real Madrid's injury woes continued to mount. Rodrygo departed after just 20 minutes, while Lucas Vazquez was unable to continue after the break.

The injuries add to Real's growing list of concerns, with right-back Dani Carvajal sidelined with an anterior cruciate ligament injury and centre-back David Alaba nursing a knee injury.

The win propelled second-placed Real Madrid six points behind leaders Barcelona. However, Hansi Flick's side can extend their advantage when they visit Real Sociedad on Sunday.
