LaLiga: Real Madrid Boosted by Rodrygo's Return Ahead of Getafe Clash

Real Madrid has been boosted by the return of Rodrygo from injury, but the team still faces a significant injury crisis ahead of their LaLiga match against Getafe.

Real Madrid has received a much-needed boost ahead of their LaLiga match against Getafe, as Brazil winger Rodrygo is set to return from injury. According to manager Carlo Ancelotti, Rodrygo's comeback will be a significant morale lift for the team, which has been plagued by injuries.

Rodrygo's return is especially timely, given that he was forced off the field with a muscle injury during Real Madrid's 4-0 win over Osasuna at the Bernabeu earlier in November. His absence was deeply felt, and his return is expected to bring a new level of energy and competitiveness to the team.

Real Madrid's defense has been severely depleted due to injuries. Key defenders David Alaba, Eder Militao, and Dani Carvajal are currently sidelined with anterior cruciate ligament injuries. Furthermore, forward Vinicius Jr. is out with a muscle issue, while midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni is nursing an ankle problem.

The list of injured players grew longer after midfielder Eduardo Camavinga suffered a hamstring injury during the 2-0 loss to Liverpool in the Champions League at Anfield on Wednesday.

However, there is some positive news on the horizon. According to coach Carlo Ancelotti, some players are nearing their return. “Rodrygo will be back tomorrow, Tchouameni will be back next game and Camavinga will be back soon,” Ancelotti told reporters on Saturday.

“In many years of my career only one year has been quite easy, last year. All the other years I have had to solve problems, sooner or later the problems come,” Ancelotti said.

“It is impossible to think of a season like last year when everything went perfectly. It's better to find the problem in November or December than in April or May ... Now the problem can be solved and, as I said, we are going to solve it.

“We are fighting for the league against a rival that is doing very well. The (Club) World Cup is coming, the Super Cup ... and above all the injured players are coming back ...

“We have to endure the moment with a good attitude and commitment because the good things are yet to come.”
