The 2025 Grammy Awards nominations are out. Check out the full list, featuring top artists in music, including Nigerian representatives and global superstars.

The 2025 Grammy Awards nominations were unveiled on Friday, November 8, in a live broadcast by The Recording Academy. Nigerian music stars Rema, Tems, Asake, and Davido received nods, recognizing their outstanding contributions.

This year's nominations were announced by a diverse group of presenters, including Hayley Williams, Billie Joe Armstrong, Gayle King, Kirk Franklin, Kylie Minogue, and Victoria Monet.

Rema and Tems made a strong showing in the 'Best Global Music Album' category. Rema's album "“HEIS” and Tems' debut album ”Born in the Wild” both earned nominations, showcasing their impact on the global music scene.

Rema has achieved a milestone with his first-ever Grammy nomination, a testament to his rising global influence.

Tems, meanwhile, secures her eighth Grammy nod, solidifying her position as a leading African artist. She will compete in the same category as international talents such as Matt B (USA), the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (UK), Ciro Hurtado (Peru), and Antonio Rey (Spain).

Nigeria's Burna Boy made history in 2021 as the first Nigerian artist to win a Grammy, taking home the award for 'Best Global Music Album' for his album “Twice As Tall.”

In another historic feat, South Africa's Tyla achieved greatness in 2024, winning the 'Best African Music Performance' category.

The 2025 Grammy Awards celebrate Nigerian excellence in the 'Best African Music Performance' category, featuring Yemi Alade's “Tomorrow,” Asake's “MMS” with Wizkid, Chris Brown's “Sensational” featuring Davido and Lojay, Burna Boy's “Higher,” and Tems' ”Love Me Jeje.”

Tems tops Nigeria's nominees with three nods: 'Best R&B Song' for “Burning,” 'Best African Music Performance' for ”Love Me Jeje,” and 'Best Global Music Album' for “Born in the Wild.”

Asake secures his second Grammy nomination, building on his 2023 recognition for “Amapiano” with Olamide. Lojay makes his Grammy debut, while Davido adds to his four career nominations, following 2023 nods for ”Timeless,” “Unavailable,” and “Feel.”

Yemi Alade secures her second Grammy nomination, following her 2022 nod for ”Dignity” alongside Angelique Kidjo.

Burna Boy continues his Grammy streak with his sixth consecutive nomination, building on his 2021 win for “Twice as Tall.”

Nigeria's Jordan Adetunji and Bloody Civilian also received nominations. Adetunji's viral hit “Kelani” earned recognition, while Bloody Civilian garnered her second Grammy nod for contributions to Bob Marley's “One Love” soundtrack in the 'Best Reggae Album' category.

Notably absent from this year's list is Ayra Starr, who received a nomination last year but did not secure a nod in the 2025 Grammy Awards.

Beyoncé dominates the 2025 Grammy nominations with 11 nods for her innovative album ”Cowboy Carter,” vying for top honors in Record, Song, and Album of the Year, plus categories spanning pop, rap, country, and Americana.

Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Post Malone follow closely with seven nominations each. Taylor Swift, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter secured six nods each.

Last year's Grammy winners included Taylor Swift's “Midnights” (Album of the Year), Miley Cyrus's “Flowers” (Record of the Year), Victoria Monét (Best New Artist), and Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell (Song of the Year) for “What Was I Made For?” from the ”Barbie” soundtrack.

The 2025 Grammy Awards ceremony will take place on February 2, 2025, at Los Angeles' (link unavailable) Arena, broadcasting live on CBS and streaming on-demand via Paramount.
