Ademola Lookman shines as Atalanta secure a convincing 3-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League, moving to four points from two matches.

Atalanta dominated Shakhtar Donetsk 3-0 in their Champions League encounter at Arena AufSchalke in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The Italian side has now accumulated four points from two matches, following their goalless draw with Arsenal.

Ademola Lookman stole the show, creating the opener in the 21st minute with a precise curling delivery from the left. Berat Djimsiti, Albania's captain, expertly flicked the ball home. Lookman continued to threaten, striking the Shakhtar crossbar before doubling Atalanta's lead just before halftime. Sead Kolasinac's pass set up Lookman's placed effort into the bottom corner.

Gian Piero Gasperini's side sealed the victory three minutes into the second half. Raoul Bellanova capitalized on hesitant defending, nodding in Davide Zappacosta's cross at the back post.

Shakhtar Donetsk, playing their home matches at Schalke's ground due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, struggled to test the Atalanta defense. They now have one point from two games.
