LIGUE 1: PSG Extend Unbeaten Run with Dominant 3-0 Win Over Marseille

Paris Saint-Germain maintained their top spot in Ligue 1 with a convincing 3-0 victory over Marseille, extending their unbeaten streak to nine games and leading second-placed Monaco by three points.

Paris Saint-Germain delivered a commanding performance to defeat Marseille 3-0 and preserve their unbeaten run, now at nine games. The triumph kept PSG atop the Ligue 1 standings, three points clear of second-placed Monaco.

PSG struck early through Joao Neves, who scored from close range after Nuno Mendes' cross was parried into his path just seven minutes in. Marseille's fortunes rapidly worsened as Amine Harit received a straight red card for fouling Marquinhos in the 20th minute.

The numerical disadvantage proved costly for Marseille as Leonardo Balerdi inadvertently deflected Achraf Hakimi's cross into his own net. PSG continued to dominate, and Bradley Barcola sealed the victory with a comfortable finish from Ousmane Dembele's cross in the 40th minute.

Marseille manager Roberto de Zerbi substituted English striker Mason Greenwood at halftime, following an underwhelming performance. Despite preventing further damage in the second half, Marseille succumbed to defeat, remaining third and six points off the top.

PSG's victory showcased their attacking prowess and defensive solidity. Marseille, meanwhile, will seek improvement.
