EPL: Kovacic Double Inspires Manchester City to 3-2 Win Over Fulham

Mateo Kovacic scored twice as Manchester City edged Fulham 3-2, ending a two-game winless streak in the Premier League and extending their unbeaten home run to 50 games.

Manchester City overcame a resilient Fulham side 3-2, thanks to Mateo Kovacic's brace and Jeremy Doku's stunning strike. City dominated early on but Fulham took the lead through Andreas Pereira's close-range finish, following Raul Jimenez's exceptional backheel cross.

Adama Traore missed two clear chances, being denied by Ederson twice. Kovacic capitalized, scoring his first goal via a deflection and his second with a clean strike from the edge of the area.

Fulham pushed for an equalizer, with Traore and substitute Rodrigo Muniz testing City's defense. Muniz scored late on, but City held on.

The win extends City's unbeaten home run to 50 games, a record only three other English top-flight teams have achieved.
