UEFA Nations League: Bukayo Saka Suffers Injury Scare as England Fall to Greece

Bukayo Saka limped off with a right leg injury in England's 2-1 UEFA Nations League loss to Greece, sparking concerns for Arsenal's Premier League campaign.

Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka suffered an injury scare during England's 2-1 defeat to Greece at Wembley on Thursday. The 23-year-old was replaced by Chelsea's Noni Madueke in the 51st minute after sustaining an injury to his right leg.

Saka was seen stretching and holding the back of his right leg before sitting on the turf following Greece's opening goal from Vangelis Pavlidis. The severity of the injury is yet to be confirmed, but it could be a concern for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.

“Bukayo Saka's injury is a worry, but we'll assess him further," said England interim manager Lee Carsley.

England was already without injured duo Harry Kane and Jack Grealish, but both are expected to be fit for Sunday's trip to Finland.

Arsenal is already dealing with an injury to captain Martin Odegaard, who suffered an ankle injury while playing for Norway in September. The Gunners return to Premier League action on October 19 against Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium.
