Sean 'Diddy' Combs faces multiple lawsuits alleging rape, sexual abuse, and assault from six accusers, citing incidents between 1995-2021, including at high-profile parties.
Sean “Diddy” Combs, a renowned US rapper and music mogul, is entangled in fresh allegations of rape, sexual abuse, and assault following the filing of multiple lawsuits on Monday.
According to reports, six lawsuits were submitted to a New York federal court by six individuals – two women and four men – citing incidents that allegedly transpired between 1995 and 2021.
The unnamed accusers claim that some of the assaults occurred at Diddy's high-profile parties, which drew prominent celebrities and music artists, as reported by the BBC.
Diddy Combs has consistently maintained his innocence, denying all civil and criminal allegations leveled against him.
One of the accusers said he was 16 when he attended one of the parties in the Hamptons in 1998.
In the lawsuit, he said he was thrilled to get an invitation to Combs' party, which became a premier A-list annual event for celebrities.
An anonymous accuser recounted an encounter with Sean “Diddy” Combs at a star-studded party, where he rubbed shoulders with numerous celebrities and musicians.
While navigating the crowded event, the accuser crossed paths with Combs en route to the bathroom. They struck up a conversation about breaking into the music industry, which led to a private meeting.
The accuser alleged that this private encounter ultimately led to the reported incident.
According to the lawsuit, the anonymous accuser alleged that Sean “Diddy” Combs suddenly instructed him to undress during their private conversation at the party.
A photo submitted as evidence shows the accuser and Combs together at the event, with the teenager's face blurred out.
The lawsuit quotes Combs as saying that undressing was “a rite of passage” and necessary to become a star, allegedly telling the teenager that he had the right “look” and could make anyone famous.
A new lawsuit filed on Monday alleges that Sean “Diddy” Combs raped a 19-year-old college student in a hotel room in 2004.
The accuser claims she met Combs at a photoshoot, where he extended an invitation to her and a friend to attend a private party at his hotel.
According to the lawsuit, the alleged rape occurred in the hotel room, marking another severe allegation against the music mogul.
The lawsuit alleges that upon arrival, Sean “Diddy” Combs subjected the accuser to fondling, molestation, and rape, despite her repeated pleas to stop.
Texas attorney Tony Buzbee, representing the accusers, announced that over 100 individuals plan to sue Combs for sexual assault, rape, and exploitation.
Buzbee revealed that some alleged victims were minors, and the lawsuits will be filed under the Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act, allowing older claims to be pursued.
Combs and his legal team have not commented on the latest allegations.
These lawsuits join over a dozen recent filings against Combs.
Mon Diaries reports that he is facing federal criminal charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. A judge last week tentatively scheduled his trial to begin on May 5, 2025.
Combs has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York since his arrest on September 16. His lawyers have argued for his release until the trial, citing the jail's “horrific” conditions.
A New York federal judge denied their request for bail, arguing that Combs was a “serious flight risk.”
