Borussia Dortmund kicked off their Champions League campaign with a convincing 3-0 victory over Club Bruges, thanks to Jamie Gittens' impressive brace and a late penalty from Serhou Guirassy.

Gittens opened the scoring in the 76th minute with a deflected shot from the edge of the box, before showcasing his skill with a double step-over move in the box and firing into the bottom corner in the 86th minute.

The Belgian side had their chances, with Hugo Vetlesen rattling the crossbar from close range. However, Dortmund's pace and precision proved too much for Bruges.

Guirassy sealed the win with a cheeky penalty chip in added time, after being fouled by Brandon Mechele.
