President Tinubu travels from UK to UN General Assembly after successful China visit, where he met with President Xi Jinping and Nigerian community, promising good governance and development despite current hardships.
President Bola Tinubu is set to travel from London to New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly meeting on September 22-23. The gathering will bring together world leaders to discuss pressing global issues, including peace and security.
Since August 29, President Tinubu has been abroad, first visiting China where he met with President Xi Jinping and secured key agreements on economic development, infrastructure, and partnerships. He will now head to the UN General Assembly in New York, continuing his international engagements.
After his productive visit to China, President Tinubu traveled to the UK on September 6 and has been stationed there since.
Before departing China, President Tinubu engaged with the Nigerian community, reassuring them of his administration's commitment to good governance and sustainable development.
He acknowledged the current challenges faced by Nigerians but emphasized that these short-term sacrifices are necessary for long-term benefits, such as improved infrastructure, reliable electricity, quality education, and enhanced amenities. President Tinubu deemed his official visit to China a resounding success.
