EFL: Foxes survive Scare - Leicester City's Beats Walsall on Penalties

Leicester City edges Walsall 3-0 in penalty shootout after 0-0 draw, advancing to Carabao Cup fourth round.

Walsall indeed lost to Leicester City in a penalty shootout, with a final score of 0-0 (3-0 pens). The match was a thrilling Carabao Cup third-round clash at the Bescot Stadium, where League Two side Walsall held their own against Premier League team Leicester City. Despite being the underdogs, Walsall dominated the first half, with Charlie Lakin coming close to scoring.

The game remained goalless after 90 minutes, forcing a penalty shootout. That's when Leicester City's goalkeeper, Danny Ward, stepped up to save the day - or rather, three penalties! Ward denied Taylor Allen, David Okagbue, and Liam Gordon, securing a 3-0 win in the shootout.

Ward's heroics spared Leicester City from a potential cup upset, and his team will now move on to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
