Victor Boniface scored a 93rd-minute winner as Bayer Leverkusen came from behind to beat Wolfsburg 4-3, despite defensive concerns, in a thrilling Bundesliga match.

Bayer Leverkusen pulled off a stunning Bundesliga comeback, defeating Wolfsburg 4-3 on Sunday. Victor Boniface's 93rd-minute winner sealed the victory after Wolfsburg's Yannick Gerhardt was sent off in the 88th minute.

Leverkusen initially fell behind when Nordi Mukiele scored an own goal in the fourth minute. However, Florian Wirtz equalized nine minutes later, and Jonathan Tah's header put the hosts ahead in the 32nd minute. Wolfsburg equalized through Sebastiaan Bornauw and took the lead via Mattias Svanberg's strike before halftime.

Xabi Alonso's halftime changes paid off when Piero Hincapie leveled the score at 3-3 in the 48th minute. Victor Boniface's late heroics secured the win, following his impressive two goals and an assist against Hoffenheim.

Despite Leverkusen's attacking prowess, manager Xabi Alonso faces defensive concerns, having conceded nine goals in four league games. However, the team's deadly finishing and 1.92 expected goals from 20 attempts on goal secured the win.
