Domestic Staff Confesses to Role in Justice Ajumogobia's Daughter's Death
Househelp's Shocking Confession in Lawyer's Daughter's Murder Case
Domestic worker turns suspect in high-profile murder investigation...
Three domestic workers, hired just 10 days prior, have been arrested for the murder of their employer, Dr. Aribemchukwu, a medical doctor at NIMASA, after they confessed to the crime and were found to have stolen her valuables.
A police source has revealed that a domestic worker of Aribemchukwu, daughter of Justice Rita Ofill-Ajumogobia, has confessed to involvement in her murder. The victim, known as Chuchu, was found dead outside her residence in Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos State.
Chuchu's lifeless body was discovered on Wednesday morning, although a family source claims she was killed the previous night. The police have taken three domestic staff members into custody in connection with the murder: the house help, security guard, and driver.
According to the police source, after killing their employer, the suspects promptly gathered and removed all of her valuables from the scene. This suggests that the murder may have been premeditated and motivated by a desire for financial gain.
The source also revealed that the three domestic workers, who have been arrested in connection with the murder, were all hired at the same time, just under 10 days prior to the incident. This raises questions about the circumstances surrounding their employment and potential motives for the crime.
The late Aribemchukwu, a medical doctor, was employed by the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) until her tragic death. Her murder has sent shockwaves through her community and colleagues, who are likely still reeling from the news.
The source added that the suspects attempted to cover their tracks by cleaning up blood stains, but their nighttime efforts were incomplete, leaving behind evidence of the crime. This suggests that the perpetrators may have been in a hurry or disorganized during the cleanup process.
