Hollywood star Jamie Foxx has spoken up about his mysterious illness, which left him hospitalized, very unwell, and unable to recall the event for what he claims was 20 days.


The 56-year-old was admitted to the hospital in April of last year due to an unidentified medical condition.


He and colleague Cameron Diaz were filming the spy comedy “Back In Action” at the time.


He was suddenly left fighting for his life, unable to walk, and with a crippling headache as the sickness struck.


Honestly discussing what had transpired, Jamie remarked, Jamie remarked, “I asked my boy for an Advil,' he said, I was gone for 20 days. I don't remember anything.


“So they told me, I'm in Atlanta, they told me, my sister and my daughter, they took me to the first doctor. Next doctor said, 'Something going on up there,” he pointed at his head.


“I won't say it on camera," he finished.


The actor has been evasive about the specifics up until now, but he is currently recuperating from this sickness.


Jamie used Instagram to tell his fans what he had gone through during his sickness, saying that he had been to hell and back.


“I cannot even begin to tell you how far it took me and how it brought me back. I went through something I thought I would never ever go through. I know a lot of people were wanting to hear updates but... I didn't want you to see me like that.


“I want you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie, television show.


“I didn't want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through.”


In addition, he disclosed that he was near death and that his condition prevented him from walking. He said, “I saw the tunnel but I didn't see the light.”
