36 State Institutions: Students Can Now Apply for Loans
NELFUND announces loan applications for students from 36 state-owned universities, including Adamawa State University, Edo State University, and Lagos State University, among others.
Students registered in 36 state-owned postsecondary institutions may now apply for student loans, starting on Sunday, July 7, 2024, according to a statement released by the Nigerian Education Loan Fund, or NELFUND.
According to NELFUND, the institution administration has successfully uploaded student information to the NELFUND Student Verification System, or SVS.
Recall that the Fund's administration delayed state-owned institutions' loan applications by two weeks because many of them neglected to upload the necessary student and fee information to the NELFUND SVS.
Thus, applicants for the loan may now be students at the following state universities: Adamawa State University, Mubi; Ramat Polytechnic, Maiduguri; Borno State University; Mohammed Lawan College of Agriculture, Borno State; Edo State University, Uzairue; Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti; Gombe State University; Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University, Imo State; Imo State University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Umuagwo; Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria; Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano; Umaru Musa Yar'adua University, Katsina; Katsina State Institute of Technology and Management; Kebbi State University of Science and Technology Aliero;
Others are the following: GTC, ARA Osun State; Taraba State University, Jalingo; Umar Suleiman College of Education, Gashua Yobe State; Zamfara State University, Talata Mafara; Tai Solarin University of Education, Ogun State; University of Medical Sciences, Ondo; Osun State University; University of Ilesa, Osun State; Lagos State University of Education; Lagos State University; Zamfara State University, Talata Mafara, and a few other GTC institutions in Osun State.
