Police Shoot and Kill Suspect in Organ Harvesting Case
Andrew Amaechi Ochekwo, a suspect detained in connection with the disappearance of Celine Ndudim and Afiba Tandoh, was shot and killed by police while attempting to escape. The two women, originally from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, went missing after visiting Andrew in Aba, Abia State, in April. Despite pressure, Andrew refused to reveal their whereabouts.
According to activist Harrison Gwamnishu, the suspect was shot and killed by vigilantes while being transported by police officers from Abia State to Abuja.
Harrison said: “He tried to escape with his car but was killed,”
“Unfortunately, the whereabouts of Celine and Afiba remain unknown.”
Harrison added that police investigations revealed Andrew's involvement with an organ harvesting syndicate. He also shared a video showing another victim who managed to escape from Andrew's captivity after six days.
The case is still under investigation, and efforts are being made to locate the missing women.
