Abuja DisCo to cut off SGF office, FCDA, Defense headquarters, and other locations due to unpaid electricity bills

AEDC, the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, has released the names of twenty-five of its customers who still owe money on their purchases.

The DisCo sent a notification on Saturday, May 1, announcing that it will disconnect any customers who do not pay their bills by June 3.

The notice reads: “This is to inform the general public that AEDC will disconnect all customers with outstanding electricity bills on June 3, 2024.

“Timely payment of electricity bills is crucial for the continued operation and enhancement of AEDC's infrastructure, ensuring we can deliver efficient and reliable service to our community.”

As a result, in order to prevent service disruption, the DisCo advised indebted consumers to pay up all outstanding bills by the deadline.
