GERMANY'S national team coach has announced the 26-man squad for the upcoming Euro 2024 tournament, and there's a surprise omission - Alexander Nübel. The goalkeeper, who has been a regular feature in recent years, misses out on the final cut.

In his place, the experienced trio of Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich), Marc-André ter Stegen (Barcelona), and Oliver Baumann (TSG Hoffenheim) will don the gloves for Germany.

The defensive lineup features a mix of veterans like Joshua Kimmich (Bayern Munich) and Toni Rüdiger (Real Madrid), alongside younger talents such as Waldemar Anton (VfB Stuttgart) and Nico Schlotterbeck (Borussia Dortmund).

The midfield and forward positions see a blend of creativity and pace, with players like Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich), Leroy Sané (Bayern Munich), and Thomas Müller (Bayern Munich) expected to play key roles. Newcomers like Maximilian Beier (Hoffenheim) and Deniz Undav (VfB Stuttgart) will also have the chance to make their mark on the international stage.

With a balance of experience and youth, Germany's squad looks well-equipped to tackle the challenges of Euro 2024. Can they bring home the coveted trophy? Only time will tell.
