UCL: Dortmund Stun PSG, Reach UCL Final


Dortmund defeated PSG to make it to their first-ever UCL final.


At the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris on Tuesday, Borussia Dortmund shocked Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) by winning 1-0 in their UEFA Champions League (UCL) semi-final second-leg match.


German defender Mats Hummels scored the lone goal as Dortmund defeated PSG both home and away for the first time, winning 2-0 overall to go to the final.


Kylian Mbappe was the first player to have a chance saved early on and had incredible footwork. Dembele and Vitinha both had opportunities thanks to the quick winger, but neither was able to convert them.

Dortmund took the lead through Hummels minutes after PSG had the better of the first half. With a brilliant header from a corner kick, the 35-year-old defender gave the Germans a 1-0 lead for the game and a two-goal aggregate advantage.


The Parisiens exited the UCL with a lackluster performance as Mbappe and Vitinha each scored more goals.


This is Borussia Dortmund's first-ever win at PSG, and Edin Terzic's team is heading to the UCL final for the first time in eleven years, since 2013.


Borussia Dortmund will be waiting for the outcome of Real Madrid and's second semi-final match on Wednesday.
