Reps. Speaker Abass appoints Eniola Badmus as SA

TAJUDEEN Abass, the Speaker of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has appointed Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus as his special adviser on social events and public hearings.

Her appointment was widely publicized on Friday, May 10, 2024.

Eniola Badmus is well-known for her unwavering support of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the ruling party, even though she has taken a lot of heat for it.

Nigerians, however, have had conflicting reactions to the news of her appointment.

Although some complimented her for her perseverance and hard work, others were critical of the recent development.

@TaoFeek182, an X user, wrote: “A well- deserved appointment. Your doggedness and dedication to your political party before and after the elections can't be overlooked. This is a reward for passion. Congratulations Eniola Badmus!”

Still reacting to the appointment, @Alpha_Femalee said, “Now, it all makes sense why she was so actively involved in the last election process. Well, congratulations are in order as Actress Eniola Badmus has been appointed SA to Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nigeria, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas.”
