A 16-year-old student in the UK impregnates a teacher

Rebecca Joynes, a thirty-year-old teacher in the UK, is accused of having sex relationships with two of her students, one of whom impregnated her while she was out on bail awaiting prosecution.

Law enforcement was able to retrieve texts from the network provider even though she tried to factory reset her phone in order to remove data.

Joynes's texts revealed that she was adamant that one of the males visit her, comforting him with words like "it's only you" as they joked about having a new student join them at their get-togethers.

The student states that before going back to her apartment, Joynes took him to Selfridges at the Trafford Centre in the UK, where she bought a belt for him for £345.

The prosecution contends that following this outing, the teenager's false statement to his mother that he was spending the night at a friend's house led to the two having intercourse twice.

Joynes is at Manchester Crown Court awaiting trial. The student denied claims that when Joynes turned down his approaches, he made up charges against her.

The youngster, who was reportedly being coached by his math teacher, informed his mother that the rumors that the two had sex were unfounded and the result of a foolish exchange on a group chat that went too far, the court heard.

The youngster had previously told the court that he had taken math classes from Joynes and that he had made jokes about his mother's fitness with friends.

The child acknowledged, when pressed further, that he had gone to Joynes' apartment in order to have a sexual encounter with her.

The court was informed that the boy's buddy had first provided cover for him by believing he was staying with him.

However subsequently, he started to worry and asked his mother to take the boy out of Joynes' apartment.

The youngster responded, “No, I haven't; I was loving it,” when he told him that Joynes had groomed him.

Later, the boy's mother received a call from the friend's mother informing her of the incident and informing her that the school had been notified.

Additionally, the youngster told his mother that it was just a foolish discussion on a group chat, but the police were also notified.

Following an inquiry by UK police in October 2021, Joynes was charged with the student's case and her school suspended her.

When she showed up for court, the prosecution says it turned out she had been having a long-term sexual connection with another student. She was given bail with the stipulation that she not speak to any children under the age of 18.

It is said that she continued the relationship with the first student while she was out on bail awaiting trial, had about 30 sexual encounters with the second, got pregnant, and gave birth to his child.

Joynes is alleged to have had sex with the 16-year-old second pupil at least 30 times at her flat after they began messaging each other on Snapchat.

She has denied two counts of sexual activity with the first pupil, two counts of sexual activity with the second pupil, and two counts of sexual activity with the second pupil as well while being a pe in a position of trust.
