‘He Stabbed Me in the Back Despite My Support’ — Yul Edochie Opens Up About Junior Pope's Betrayal
NIGERIAN actor Yul Edochie has finally broken his silence on why he didn't attend the burial of his colleague, Junior Pope. In a candid statement, Yul revealed that Junior Pope's betrayal was the reason for his absence.
“I wanted to wait until after his burial to speak up,” Yul began. “Many people asked why I wasn't there, and I haven't commented on it until now. The truth is, I was there for Junior Pope when he needed me. I took care of him like a brother and a good friend. But despite my support, he repeatedly stabbed me in the back.”
Yul's words convey a sense of hurt and disappointment. He continued, “That's life, and I've learned from the experience. I'll share the full details soon, so others can learn from it too. Be careful what you wish for, as it could come back to haunt you.”
