Davido challenges Wizkid to same-day song release

In the ongoing spat between two Nigerian music superstars, Davido has struck back at Wizkid with a bold dare to a same-day song release battle.

Davido questioned the relevancy of Wizkid's latest musical production, claiming that his own supremacy in the industry has pushed his competitor into the background.

Davido highlighted Wizkid's professional troubles, implying that his own streak of hits outweighs any recent success his opponent (Wizkid) may have experienced.

He said, “That's what I thought. Nothing to say, exactly why I stopped wasting my clout and jeopardising my millions of USD of endorsements on someone whose career was resurrected a few years ago just to die again.”

With confidence bordering on hubris, Davido declared himself prepared for the fight, claiming an arsenal of 80 ready-to-go blows.

“I have hits; he doesn't. Tell him to let's drop it. Darkness vanishes, and they give birth to him. Very well, he should drop. I'm ready. I've got 80 hits ready to go. Ayo, please activate me. He didn't fit, solo short, bitch.”

“It's so funny how the whole industry is scared of a 4-foot guy like him. I'm short too, but if you see him in person, you'll just giggle, idiot,” he added.

This latest salvo follows a social media frenzy spurred by Wizkid's upload of a leaked video purportedly showing Davido wailing and begging an alleged female associate on his knees.

The video, which went viral in April, sparked tensions not only between the two performers, but also among their fans.
