Actress Uche Ogbodo Claps Back at Troll Who Questioned Her Age
UCHE Ogbodo, a Nollywood actress, has responded to a troll who accused her of lying about her age. The troll, in a condescending tone, pointed out that people born in 1986 are turning 38 this year and implied that Uche was already an adult when she started her acting career. The troll also made a snide comment about Uche's husband, suggesting that she should have revealed her “real age” to him.
The troll wrote: “Aunty. Don't forget that the kids born in 1986 are the ones turning 38 years this year. You were already a full grown woman when you started acting movies then. Hopefully you told that little boy you're married to your real age. Yeye!!”
Uche Ogbodo was having none of it and fired back at the troll, expressing her disgust and disappointment at the unnecessary attack. She wondered what could be driving the troll's age insecurity and why they felt the need to target her. She confidently declared that she had achieved stardom while the troll was “sleeping” and that her success was not something to be ashamed of.
“You Should Be Ashamed Of Yourself, I Became A Star While You Were Sleeping,” actress Uche Ogbodo replied.
Uche's response was met with support and applause from some of her fans, who commended her for standing up for herself and refusing to be bullied by online trolls. The exchange serves as a reminder that women, particularly in the public eye, are often subjected to unfair scrutiny and criticism, and that it's important to speak out against such behavior.
