US Delta Airlines Will Begin Operating 14 Flights Per Week To Lagos
RESUMING daily service to Lagos from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York by December 1st is part of Delta Airlines' significant expansion commitment.
The airline had stopped operating between Lagos and John F. Kennedy International Airport in October 2022.
Delta said that the route suspension was necessary to accommodate the present demand situation when announcing the suspension.
It is currently modernizing its fleet as well for operations to South Africa and Accra, Ghana.
The airline will offer a total of 14 weekly flights to Nigeria from December through the first half of January and 10 weekly flights for the remainder of the harmattan 2024 season with the reintroduction of daily service from John F. Kennedy International Airport.
The airline operates more than 34 weekly flights that carry over half a million passengers between the US and Africa annually.

Joe Esposito, Senior Vice President of Network Planning at Delta, stated, “These enhancements reflect our dedication to meeting the evolving needs of our customers.”
He continued, “We're expanding our options for customers to experience the premium service and elevated hospitality they expect from Delta.”
The circular states that there are four classes available to passengers on this journey on the Airbus A330-200: Main Cabin, Delta One, Delta Premium Select, and Delta Comfort+.
“Customers on this flight will have a choice of Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin experiences on the Airbus A330-200,” it added.
