INEC Releases Candidates' Names For The Edo Gubernatorial Election [FULL LIST]

THE list of candidates for governor of Edo state's upcoming September 21 governor's race has been made public by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

On Saturday, the state's LGAS INEC offices presented the candidacies' details together with those of their political parties.

The names of 17 different political parties' candidates for governor are on the list.

According to INEC's Timidi Wariowei, head of voter education and publicity in Edo State, the candidates' names being shown complies with the 2022 Electoral Act.

° Aner Aliu - Social Democratic Party (SDP)

° Azena Azemhe Friday - New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP)

° Osifo Isiah - All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA)

° Ugiagbe Sylvester - All Peop Movement (APM)

° Areleogbe Osalumese - All Peoples Party (APP)

° Akhime Afere - Action Democratic Party (ADP)

° Udoh David - African Action Congress (AAC)

° Akhalamhe Amiemenoghena - Zenith Labour Party (ZLP)

° Ighodalo Asuerinme - Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)

° Olumide Akpata - Labour Party

° Osirame Edeipo - Boot Party (BP)

° lyere Kennedy - Accord Party (AP)
