How To Take Advantage Of The N150,000 FG Bursary Award

THE Federal Government Bursary Award for Nigerian students in qualifying tertiary institutions for 2024 has been announced by the Federal Ministry of Education.


The Federal Government Bursary gives selected applicants who are enrolled students in Nigerian colleges or educational institutions a monetary prize of N150,000.


PERSONS CAN APPLY FOR THE FSB AWARD?


For the Federal Government Scholarship Award to be given to you, you have to:


1. Have a full-time student registration at a federal or state university.


2. For postgraduate students, have at least a first degree with a Second Class Honours Division.


3. Be enrolled full-time at Federal or State Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics, and Colleges of Education as second-year or above students.


4. Have a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 4.0 on a five-point rating (or its equivalent) or 5.0 on a seven-point rating (UG, HND, & NCE).


5. (Applying for NCE/HND) have a CGPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.


6. The scholarship cannot be used for part-time study or concurrently held with another award.


7. Keep your current institution or course while you enjoy the reward.


ESSENTIAL DOCUMENT TO GET INTO THE AWARD OF BURSARY


Candidates must be prepared to submit the following paperwork in order to apply:


A. Admission Letter to the University


B. Certificate of State of Origin


C. The National Identity Number


D. Academic Transcript: CGPA Result


One benefit is that the recipient can have the prize renewed every year until they graduate from college or university.
