THE former members of Mo' Hits Records have received an apology from singer Dapo Oyebanjo, also known as D'Banj.

Don Jazzy, also known as Michael Collins Enebeli, and D'banj owned Mo' Hits Records, a record label specializing in Nigerian music. 2006 saw its founding. Artists including Charles Enebeli nicknamed D'Prince, Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe aka Wande Coal, Sidney Onoriode Esiri aka Dr. SID, and his younger brother Kehinde Oladotun Oyebanjo aka K-Switch were also signed by the label.

However, Don Jazzy revealed that D'banj had departed the group in March 2012.

The singer reflected on his time in the music business and the individuals that helped shape his development.

D'banj acknowledged the accomplishments of his former Mo' Hits teammates, together over the years.

He also declared he was done blame gaming while apologising to his label mates to forgive him, “If you feel I wronged you at any time.”

“Next week Friday, I'm dropping a track that is dear to my heart. It might be the best track of my career so far. Been at this game since '04," he wrote in a statement.

“When I look back at my journey as your favourite entertainer, many names pop up in my mind for their various contributions to D'banj. Today, I celebrate Mo' Hits.. the group and our team.

“What a SOLID team we had. Don Jazzy, Wande Coal, Dr. Sid, D'Prince and Kay Switch. My brothers were piping hot!! Together we elevated this game and showed them things that could happen.

“I've spent many years focusing on the blame game but I'm not playing that game anymore. If you feel I wronged you at anytime, forgive me.

“The philosopher in me is grateful for everything that went right and those that went wrong. Without those things, we won't all be the Kings we are today killing it in our different endeavours 👌🏻.

To all who have worked behind the scenes from Baba Are, Chuchu Lee, General Jay, Kamal, Bankuli, Ayo Sonaiya, Mozenge Lee, Cheekychizzy, Bizzle, Special Ed, Killz, Vanessa Amadi, Davin Phillips, Tonya Merit and everyone else, Banga is grateful. God bless us all.

“I love you all my Babylets, Kokolets, Mamalets and Kokomasters. Anticipate ‘Since '04’ coming on 03/05. #20yoDB.”
