Abdullahi Ganduje, National Chairman Of Kano APC, Suspended Over Alleged Bribery
ABDULLAHI Ganduje, the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, has been expelled from the organization.
On Monday, April 15, 2024, he was suspended by his ward, the Ganduje Ward in the Dawakin Tofa LGA of Kano State.
The Kano State Government accused the former governor of bribery, leading to his suspension.
Halliru Gwanzo, the ward's legal adviser, charged the former governor of egregious misbehavior and embezzlement of public monies during his tenure in office when he spoke with reporters.
He said that the ward's members had decided unanimously to suspend the party's national chairman.
He stated that after the eight-year government, accusations of corruption prevented Ganduje from clearing his name.
“We decided to suspend Dr. Ganduje from the party due to the seriousness of the allegations against him,” Gwanzo stated.
