3 injured, 1 Dead In Kaduna As FRSC Retrieves N8.7m At accident Scene
THE Federal vehicle Safety Corps (FRSC) Kaduna sector command reports that one person has died and three others have been injured in a fatal vehicle accident that occurred on the Kaduna-Abuja expressway.
The collision happened on Wednesday, April 24 in Olam along the freeway at approximately 11:01 p.m.
A Golf car registered SBG 87 XB, which was moving from Minna, Niger State, collided with an unnumbered trailer that was moving toward Kaduna, according to Sector Commander Kabir Nadabo.
The crash was caused by overspeeding, exhaustion, and loss of control, the investigation found.
Three injured individuals were transferred to the Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital in Kaduna for medical attention out of the six individuals involved. Regretfully, the collision claimed the life of the Golf's operator.
The command retrieved N8.7 million from the accident scene while the owner's identity is being awaited.
Biu's recommendations and the FRSC's actions highlight a coordinated attempt to improve road safety and guarantee that drivers who are involved in accidents across the country are held accountable.
