The Nigerian Chief of Staff office's 2024 budget is projected to rise to N21.22 billion
Remarkably, the budgetary allotment for Nigeria's Office of the Chief of Staff to the President has experienced an enormous growth, amounting to an astounding $21.22 billion for the fiscal year 2024.
According to top data analysis company Statisense, this enormous rise represents a sharp contrast to the comparatively low numbers of the previous years.
The Chief of Staff's office budget was $24.35 million in 2020, and it increased gradually to $76.55 million in 2021, based on statistics from Statisense.
The trajectory, however, saw a significant uptick in 2022, rising to #526.47 million, and continued to be allocated at a high level in 2023 at #517.95 million. In 2024, there was a sharp increase to over #21 billion.
