Katsina Government Repairs 15 Police Vehicles With N50 million

The Katsina State Government on Wednesday handed over fifteen (15) assorted Police vehicles. it repaired to the representative of the state police command.



The state governor, Dikko Radda, kindly approved the sum of N50 million for the repair of the vehicles, according to Mukhtar Aliyu Saulawa, Deputy Chief of Staff in the Deputy Governor's Office, who was presenting the repaired vehicles during a brief ceremony held at the Katsina State Government House Banquet Hall.


He clarified that the intervention came about in response to a special request for help in repairing the police vehicles made to the Governor by the State Police Command via Commissioner of Police Aliyu Musa. 


“We invited mechanics and panel beaters locally and repaired the vehicles in order to encourage our local talents mostly students drawn from the Katsina Youth Craft Village,” he said.


The DC Operations of the Katsina State Police Command, Ibrahim Sa'ad, expressed his gratitude to the state governor for his vision to fix the vehicles and his commitment to restoring peace in the state, while accepting the repaired vehicles on behalf of the IGP and State Commissioner of Police.


Therefore, he gave his word that the vehicles would be well-maintained and used for their intended purpose.
