EPL: West Ham Planning To Sign Taiwo Awoniyi
Awoniyi is being targeted by West Ham for a summer signing
West Ham United will put in a bid for Nottingham Forest attacker Taiwo Awoniyi in the summer.
The Premier League's financial regulations may be broken again, so Nottingham Forest is willing to trade the Nigerian international, according to reports.
Tricky Trees have already received a four-point deduction for their transgression.
However if Forest doesn't offload one of its best players in the summer, they could repeat the same mistake the following year.
It has been said that Awoniyi is the player they are willing to sell in order to raise the necessary funds.
West Ham made a strong bid for the striker last summer, but Forest turned it down.
The Hammers want to make another bid for the former Liverpool player, at the end of the current season.
So far this season, Awoniyi has scored twice against West.
This season, the 26-year-old has six goals in the league.
