Davido Establishes A Music And Arts Department At A Ugandan University

THE International University of East Africa in Uganda has welcomed the music and arts department, led by Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, also known as Davido.

The celebrated vocalist published several images from the presentation on Instagram on Friday.

On March 28, Davido inaugurated the university's college of music and arts as well as a hall bearing his name.

Presently in Uganda, Davido is scheduled to make a performance at the Kololo Independence Grounds.

The singer gave $5,000 to a Rwandan music school in 2018.

“Visited a music school in Rwanda today, the beautiful bright spirit of the people I met there motivated me to donate to their future,” he had said.
