Stanley Nwabali, the goalkeeper for the Super Eagles, was carried off the field by stretcher during Nigeria's 2023 Africa Cup of Nations round-of-16 match against Cameroon.
According to reports, Stanley Nwabali, the goalkeeper for the Super Eagles, will play against Angola in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinal.
Nwabali had been stretchered off the pitch during Nigeria's round-of-16 clash with Cameroon after an aggressive challenge by Christopher Wooh.
Concerns regarding the Nigerian international's full fitness for the Friday match were raised when he was seen lightly limping in a video though he has started training as seen also in a video that MON DIARIES was able to obtain.

However, he was back in action the next day, taking part in the quarterfinal practice against the Palancas Negras.

The head coach of the Super Eagles or the team's media officer have not yet responded to reports regarding Nwabali's availability, but it appears that the 27-year-old will be fit for the match against Angola.
