ADUSTECH Suspends A Lecturer For Disciplining A Student Who Was Tardy To Class [VIDEO]

The administration of Wudil, Kano State's Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology has suspended a lecturer who was seen in a widely shared video purportedly disciplining a few tardy students.

This was revealed in a statement on Tuesday, February 6 by Sa'idu Abdullahi Nayaya, the deputy registrar of information and public relations.

“These measures were taken swiftly to arrest the situation and bring justice. The management is hereby assuring parents and the general public that any breach of student welfare and safety will not be tolerated and will be met with appropriate consequences,” he said.

Nayaya asserts that the university administration was made aware of the widely shared video showing the negligent lecturer beating the students during a class.

He stated that after the management quickly sent out a question, the employee was suspended and the case was sent to the Disciplinary Committee for additional review.
