Two Years After, Dowen College Pupil, Sylvester Oromoni, Laid To Rest
Sylvester Oromoni, a late student at Dowen College, was finally buried in Delta
Sylvester Oromoni Jr., a 12-year-old student at Dowen College in Lekki, Lagos State, who passed away in 2021 allegedly due to abuse by senior colleagues, has been laid to rest.
On Saturday, January 27, 2024, Oromoni was laid to rest at the family's Ogbe-ljoh compound in the Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta.
More than two years have passed since the late student's death.
After being allegedly tortured by some senior college students who intended to initiate him into a cult, the minor passed away on November 30, 2021.
Dowen College, however, rejected the complaint, claiming the boy was hurt while playing football with his pals.
