Lagos Beats Dubai, Miami, Ranked 19th out Of 50 Best Cities In The World

Lagos was rated as the 19th best city to visit, behind Miami, Dubai, and other places

According to Time Out, a British media and hospitality company that publishes guides and magazines, Lagos is the 19th best city in the world to visit.

The conclusion, according to the company, came from a survey of more than 20,000 city people worldwide.

Food (both quality and price), nightlife, culture, how a city makes people feel, strong sense of community, accessibility to green space, historical sites, and many other factors are taken into consideration when ranking the cities.

Time Out stated in the report released earlier this week that it collaborates with Potentia Insight, a research firm, to improve the caliber of the survey.

The only African cities on the list were Cape Town, South Africa; Lagos, Nigeria; and Accra, Ghana.

Lagos came in at number 19, Accra at number 44, and Cape Town at number 2.

Lagos surpasses a number of cities, including Miami, US; Dubai, UAE; Beijing, China; Montreal, Canada; Melbourne, Australia; and Naples, Italy, Singapore.
